All WCET® members receive the WCET® Journal. Recent Membership Surveys identify that the WCET® Journal is the most highly prized membership benefits.

This valued professional publication began its journey over two decades ago as a single fold paper newsletter, Newsline. It later became the quarterly WCET® Journal, distributed as an element of the WCET® membership. The WCET® Journal has been listed in the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) since 1994.

The WCET® Journal is a recognized resource and reference for health care professionals around the world. The Journal ranks highly for WCET® members as it serves as a vital source of ostomy, wound and continence care information. Excellence in practice requires putting knowledge into action, and the WCET® Journal focuses on providing all facets of evidence that clinicians need as a basis for clinical care decisions. To achieve this goal, the WCET® Journal publishes peer reviewed manuscripts that include relevant research, case studies, clinical approaches to patient care situations and summary articles.

The WCET® actively encourages its members to share new information, book reviews, abstracts, evidence-based practice outcomes on clinical trials and their findings. The WCET® Journal is the only global reference document that provides an international voice for Enterostomal Therapy Nurses with articles printed in both English and other languages.

The WCET® Journal actively seeks article submissions from our Global Membership and we encourage you to share your experiences.

The WCET® Journal offers an unparalleled opportunity to industry stakeholders to advertise their products to a global audience. By regularly inserting product information in the quarterly Journal, Enterostomal Therapy Nurses world-wide are kept up to date with the latest innovations in technology in ostomy, wound and continence management and care. Patients, care-providers and industry reap the benefits.

Opinions expressed in the WCET® Journal are the authors' and not necessarily those of the World Council of Enterostomal Therapists, the editor or the editorial board.
